For me, the more books I can get into my kid's hands the better. Audiobooks are a great way to introduce great literature to your children, and guess what? Amazon's Audible is offering some great ones for free! You can listen to these straight from the website on your phone, tablet, or computer, no subscription needed. They have everything from picture books like a Beatrix Potter Treasury and Winnie the Pooh up to classics like Alice in Wonderland, and new favorites like Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Hank the Cowdog.
